Some information
(This text was taken from the information-brochure from the recent SWEA art exhibition)
I have been painting more or less as I can remember. After moving to Japan in 1979 I
have attended different painting classes. I started with oilpainting and when I moved to Kobe
in 1990 I started to study Sumi-e and Shodo with late Tatebayashi-sensei. I did that for 10 years and
I have attended all SWEA exhibitions and also exhibitions in Kobe together with my painting group
and some exhibitions with my sensei. At this exhibition I will show some Sumi-e the way I as
a foreigner see it, and some acrylic paintings as well.
